Freckle Friday-Getting To Know You Edition

  1. I love to blog.  I enjoy making people laugh or cringe at the stuff I write. In the last year or so this blog has become something I am proud of.  I read other blogs and get inspired to entertain my readers even more.

Some of you were probably not super entertained by last weeks drunken
Freckle Friday. No worries, I’ve written a mental note...no more blogging from your friends house, after a bottle of wine!

I am not going to blog anything really inspiring today.  I was looking at this book about Icebreakers at the library recently, and it gave some cool questions about getting to know people.  I understand that most of you actually know me.

Most of the 120 blog views this week have been from the good old Dairy State.

But really, how much useless knowledge is too much?  I guess I will leave that for you to decide.  I would love to more useless information about you too, so leave me a comment.  Let the ice breaking begin...

•What do you feel is your most attractive physical feature?  My eyes

•Name a pet you have owned and how you came to name him/her.  We had the best yellow lab ever named Ally, which we named after Ally McBeal.  She got run over when I was pregnant with Owen...it was an awful.

•What’s your favorite line from any movie?  "It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one."

•If you had unlimited money and space, what one thing would you add to your bedroom?  A built in cleaning lady.

•Who was your first big crush? Why did you like this person? Did he/she like you back?  I totally had a crush on my cousin Tim when I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade.  I am not sure why, I think he was just nice.  As we got older the crush went away, but I still coveted his Beastie Boys cassette.

•If you had the opportunity to live one year of your life over again, which year would you choose?  The year after I had Sophia...I was kind of screwed up and didn't enjoy it like I should have.

•What magazine(s) do you subscribe to?   SELF, US WEEKLY(a way to support the  Special Olympics & my love affair with celebrity gossip) and O.  I probably read a 5% of the SELF and O, however, US WEEKLY...cover to cover.

•On Saturdays, I like to...do laundry.  I almost typed that with a straight face.  Yeah, pretty much anything but laundry.

•What's better -- toilet paper rolled over top or underneath?  As long as there is toilet paper when I sit down I could care less.

•What "group" did you belong to in high school?  That is hard to answer, I was friends with the popular girls and the ones who weren't that popular.   I hated those bitchy, flakey girls who were popular for no other reason than looks or who they dated.

•If this were your last day alive, what would you say to each person in the group?  Thanks for reading

•Describe your dream wedding where money is no option.  On a beach with our close family & friends there for like a week long party.  No drama, no headaches, just fun.

•Do you have a birth mark? Where? Does it look like anything?  Yep, on neck.  It fades more every year, most people hardly notice it NOW.  My uncle Denny used to call me Hickey Girl...that's a tender memory between me and my godfather.

•You are planning the most awesome dinner party of your life. Which 3 celebrities/historical figures (past or present) would you add to your guest list to keep the dinner talk interesting?  This is a great question.  Narrowing down to 3 is hard.  No question for me about the first one...Barack Obama, David Letterman, and Sarah Silverman

•Which would you rather have a kiss or a hug? Why?  A hug by far.  The squeeze relieves tension and you can really give anyone a hug.

•You have multiple personalities, describe some of them. I have named them like the 7 Dwarfs.  Bitchy, Freaky, Loopy, Witty, Deadly, Foxy and DOC.

•If you were blind for the rest of your life... what would you miss seeing the most?  My kids' big blue eyes.

•What is your most disappointing moment in life?  I don't really know so I hope that whatever it was, was the most disappointing moment in my whole life.

•When have you laughed the hardest?  I remember laughing so hard that my sides and my cheeks hurt on our way to South Padre for Spring Break.  Watching Jamie try to throw quarters into a toll.  Her gumby arms were chucking quarters in all directions, just none into the GIANT coin receptacle.  Then from the passengers seat Shannon completed our toll transaction.  The vision still makes me laugh out loud.

•If you had a "theme song" that played whenever you walk into a room full of people, what would it be?   The World Should Revolve Around Me by Little Jackie Or Sexyback by JT...it's a toss up.

•What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?  Teeth if the person is talking or Eyes if they are not talking.

•Do you like fruit?  Vegetables?  I am pretty sure I'd get fired from my real job if I said NO.  So thankfully, Yes I do.

•Pen or Pencil?  I have strict pen/pencil guidelines so that is not a simple one word answer.

•What is one thing about you people would be surprised to learn?  If I could eat pizza everyday...I totally would.

•Would you rather go the short way slow, or take the long way fast if you got there in the same amount of time?  I have speeding and tardiness issues so I'd probably end up going the short way really fast and still not be there on time.

•If I were God: I'd make pedophiles too fat to move.

•When you were in elementary school, what was your favorite activity at recess?  Chinese Jumprope...I freakin' loved it!

•Coffee or Tea?  Coffee with splenda and skim milk.

•What is the best thing you have done in your life?  I went to therapy to get a grip on things that were standing in my way of becoming everything I wanted to be.

Have a great weekend.  Get to know someone or tell someone something goofy about yourself.
