Dog Days...

dog days
noun (plural)
dog days, plural

1. The hottest period of the year (reckoned in antiquity from the heliacal rising of Sirius, the Dog Star)

2. A period of inactivity or sluggishness - in August the baseball races are in the dog days

In Wisconsin, the dog days are from January-March. The nights are long, the temperatures are low, and Vitamin D is nonexistent.

The amazing weather of spring in Wisconsin makes me want to fling the windows open, lotion (& tone) up my arms, throw on a t-shirt, and sing at the top of my lungs.

I want to blog, but sitting down at this computer, to write, feels a lot like "work" and I can't have that today.

Follow these steps to enjoy, with me, the end of the dog days.

2. Click the larger button in the middle of the player...the one with the arrow.

3. Crank up the volume.

4. Sing, smile, breathe deep...and loudly repeat with me...

"THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER, THE DOG DAYS ARE DONE"
