Day 1 of the April A to Z Challenge.
I mentioned before my theme would be a new photo (or two) a day, but I think I'm going to narrow it a bit further. The photos will fall under this catorgory:
verb /ikˈsplôr/
explored, past participle; explored, past tense; explores, 3rd person singular present; exploring, present participle
Travel in or through (an unfamiliar country or area) in order to learn about or familiarize oneself with it
- the best way to explore Iceland's northwest
- explore the world of science and technology
I met Amy Lou Jenkins a couple of months ago, while she was doing a residency at Shake Rag Center for the Arts. One evening she read from her book, Every Natural Fact: Five Seasons of Open Air Parenting.
She has a beautiful way of describing, in words, the beauty of being outdoors with her son. I hope my photos can visually narrate my explorations over the next 26 letters...and beyond.
Most of my images will be shot in jpeg, and I plan to use my Canon 50mm 1.4 lens, because it's lovely compact size make exploring very easy.
